Life ban facing Sreesanth blames Rahul Dravid and MS Dhoni

Former Indian fast bowler S Sreesanth blamed former Indian Team Captain MS Dhoni and former captain of India as well as IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals, Rahul Dravid. He alleged that Both of them doesn’t support him during his hard times.

Sreesanth is now facing a life ban by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for his alleged involvement in the 2013 IPL spot-fixing scam.

He made the allegations during an interview to a TV channel, he also said that the Delhi police arrested me when I was with Rajasthan Royals. Dravid knew me very well. I had sent an emotional SMS to the then national captain Dhoni as well. But both did not support me, said Sreesanth.

Sreesanth went on to add that though there was evidence against top Indian players for being part of the spot-fixing scam, their names were kept under wraps.

Indian cricket would have been badly hit if had their names come out. The Indian team does not represent the nation, instead, it is representing the BCCI which is a private body, slammed Sreesanth.

Earlier, the life ban was lifted by a single bench of the Kerala High Court only to see the division bench overturn the verdict.

The 34-year-old Kerala player is planning to move the Supreme Court to get his life ban lifted. The maverick player had expressed his interest to play in the Scottish League but the BCCI refused him a NOC.
