KERALA STRUCK WITH MILD EARTHQUAKE, NO DAMAGES

A mild earthquake with a magnitude of 2.2 on the Richter scale hit Idukki district in Kerala on Thursday morning. 

The tremor which lasted for seven seconds was felt by the residents in Cheruthoni, Moolamattom, and Kulamavu area. The quake was centered in the forested area of Kulamavu.

There have been no reports of property damage or injuries.

The minor earthquake did not threaten any nearby dams.
