Ice age is coming in 2030; scientists warn

Our Earth’s environment has changed a lot. scientists have also been warned about that in future Earth may go through more severe condition which will greatly affect the life of human beings. Well, a new study has recently revealed that in future time will come that will offset the damage of global warming, but on the other side, that will bring a mini ice age on Earth. The scientists have warned that it may happen by 2030.

The mathematical model of the Sun’s magnetic energy has revealed that, in 2021, the temperature on earth will begin going down and that changes in temperature will create Maunder Minimum. It is not a new thing as it had also happened in the year between 1664 and 1715 and that had created a mini ice age. The scientist said that the low temperature would freeze the Thames River in London.

The study was conducted by Valentina Zharkova, a math professor at North Umbria University. She has warned that the mini ice age will be so powerful that it will change the effect of global warming. She stated that global warming would be reversed by this effect and it will give around 30 years to humankind to sort out our pollution.

The study says, the solar cycle of the Sun takes typically 11 years to reach the solar maximum and the solar minimum. During the solar maximum, it produces maximum heat which affects its magnetic waves. Now, the sun is in the solar maximum, and it will go to the solar minimum by the year 2021. When it happens, it will reduce the temperature.

The researcher’s team and it leader professor Zhaarkova has stated that, when the sun will enter into the solar minimum, the magnetic waves will go down for the next three cycles and will last around 33 years. The next solar maximum will start in 2050. The report says the pair of magnetic waves would offset during Cycle 25 and will peak in 2022. During Cycle 26, from 2030-2040, the two waves will become out of control and will lead to decrease in solar activity. This is for the first time in a long 172 years that the scientists have spotted such activity of Sun which varies 10 to 12 years.

A few days back, scientists informed that when a star will die it explode and would rain ions down onto Earth which will also create a new Ice Age. The cosmic rays will have the charged particles, and it will bring water and sulphuric acid together and will form clusters. The clusters then make clouds when it gets large. More the clouds, more it will impact the weather for a longer period.

The Lead author of the study Dr. Henrik Svensmark said that the team has the last piece of the puzzle which now has given a complete idea of how space’s particles affect Earth’s climate. It further has given a clue on how solar activity and supernova activity influence the climate.
