This Village in Amethi doesn’t have electricity despite 70 years of Congress rule!

Amethi is known as the strong bastion of Indian National Congress, but despite the 70 years rule in Amethi a village is yet to see light! This has forced the villagers to live in dark and children top study under the lantern.

The incident was reported from Majeri Rasee a small village in Amethi town where each and every family members of Nehru family had visited during election time and asked people to vote for them. However, they failed to lit their homes.

Though the local administration had completed all the paperwork the electricity way back 15 years ago, still there is no electricity and electric poles are lying there without wires or electricity.

When reporters from Zee News reached the spot they found that the place was full of ambitious students who wanted to become doctor and engineers but they said that it is only possible when they will get enough electricity to light their houses, especially in the night.

Some kids who are studying in night lamps regularly had started complaining that their eyesight has weakened due to this. Villagers had requested Yogi Adityanath government, which is in power in Uttar Pradesh since last 11 months, to light-up their village.

On the other side, villagers had registered a number of complaints, especially they can’t operate mobile phones and can’t use television from their residence.
