This is the reason why a first Standard boy got stabbed by a girl student in school toilet

The seven-year-old was allegedly stabbed by a senior girl student. He is now at the trauma center of King George’s Medical University (KGMU) and is battling for his life. What is more shocking is the reason behind this act

The boy informed police that the girl while beating him, said that she was doing so to get the school to close early. The incident took place at the Brightland Inter College school in Triveninagar on Tuesday but was reported only when the KGMU authorities revealed it to the media.

The victim was reportedly stabbed in the chest and abdomen and locked inside the toilet by the girl. The designated discipline head of the school, Amit Singh Chauhan heard his cries and found him in a pool of blood and his mouth stuffed with a cloth. The boy was immediately taken to a private hospital from where he was referred to KGMU.

“When I asked didi why she was beating me, she said: I want the school to declare an early closure today,” he added

The district inspector of schools has issued a show-cause notice to the school for not informing the police about the incident in time. The police is also questioning the 12-year-old, class VI girl who was identified by the victim with the help of a photograph.
