Jaya Prada about the dreams of Sridevi about her children

Leaving behind regrets, Sridevi has bid goodbye to this world. Although she is not here her dreams will be fulfilled.

Sridevi was an icon in Bollywood whose aura and charm was unmatched. The actor breathed her last at 11 pm on February 24, 2018, in Dubai owing to a massive cardiac arrest. The procedure in Dubai is still underway and her mortal remains are expected to arrive by today.

Bollywood has been mourning the loss of their very own which included Jaya Prada, Sridevi’s rival turned friend.

Talking about Sridevi’s demise with a leading tabloid, Jaya Prada said, “News of her demise seems like a bad dream. I couldn’t believe it till I saw it on news channels. We worked together in several films like Tohfa (1984). She was a wonderful actor and mother. It was her dream to see her daughters (Janhvi and Khushi) rule the silver screen – just like she did.”

For the uninitiated, Sridevi and Jaya started their career at the same time and shared a cold war in spite of starring in several movies like Tohfa, Maqsad, Naya Kadam and Main Tera Dushman. At one point, Jeetendra and Rajesh Khanna tried to intervene and locked them in a room but that just increased the tension between the leading ladies.

However, after 25 years, at Amar Singh’s party in 2015, the two had shared a table and were extremely cordial with each other and in the process ended their cold war, according to a leading daily.

Sridevi, along with Boney Kapoor also attended Jaya Prada’s son Siddharth’s wedding in 2015.

Meanwhile, we will get to see Sridevi one last time on the silver screen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero which is being helmed by Aanand L. Rai.
