Only India can show the right path to the world, feels RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

Mohan Bhagwat, the head of RSS, feels that only India can show the right path to the world. He also added that the Hindus in the country must unite and feel pride in the unity. Bhagwat was addressing the ‘Rashtroday Sammelan’ in western Uttar Pradesh.Union ministers Mahesh Sharma, Gen VK Singh, Satyapal Singh, and state ministers Chetan Chauhan and Dharam Singh Saini were also present at the programme.

Hindus must unite, this is our duty,” Bhagwat also added that the whole world may take advantage of India if Indians do not unite.

Praising RSS workers, Bhagwat pointed out that more than 1,70,000 volunteers are doing social service and these volunteers are willing to lay down their lives in the service of the nation. Earlier, Bhagwat had created a controversy by saying that the RSS will prepare military personnel within three days which the Army would do in 6-7 months. This was widely criticised. Later Bhagwat clarified that he had not compared the Army with Sangh volunteers and his remarks on the matter were “misrepresented.”
