After suffering a loss in the women’s final, Kerala hit back at the same opponent in men’s final to retain its National Volleyball Championship in Kozhikode. Kerala have emphatically beaten Railways in the game of four sets.

The final was largely dominated by the Kerala team as they won three of the four sets. It came back strongly after losing the first set to register one of the best victories in the history of National Volleyball Championship. It remained unbeaten throughout the tournament.
