In a sort of huge setback for P V Anwar M.L.A, Election commission has declared that the petitioner can approach the court in against M.L.A for giving false election affidavit.
The case was that P.V.Anwar hid details regarding his real assets in election affidavits given during 2011 and 2016 election. These assets belong to his wife. In regards to this case, the complaint was also given to the Governor.

Governor handled the complaint to chief secretary for further investigation and it was then handed over to the Election Commission.
The decision of Election Commission was informed to the petitioner by the Government of Kerala.
