While Krishna was at work, his wife Rekha(19) served dinner to Shantaram. Shantaram didn’t like the way vegetables had been cooked and threw the food into the gutter. This naturally upset Rekha and an argument ensued between them. After the work when Krishna came, Santaram informed about this incident and both together abused Rekha for bad preparation. The first part of the argument was over and it took a bloody turn when after having dinner Krishna went out for a walk. Another argument started between them. During this, Shantaram started physically attacking Rekha, even hitting her in the abdomen. By then Krishna reached home and when he saw his father assaulting his wife, he jumped in between to stop that. During that squabble, Santaram assaulted his son and he died on the spot.

Central Police Sation Sub Inspector S K Shere said that when Krishna had told his father to not assault his wife, Santaram had assaulted him and he died on the spot.

Echoing this bizarre incident, another incident happened in Delhi when a 30-year-old food stall owner was killed by local goons for refusing free food to them.
