Journalism Started at the Age of Mahabharatha, Narada is the Best Reporter; says U.P Minister

Uttar pradesh minister Dinesh Sharma, while speaking on the occasion of ‘Hindi Journalism Day’ chose to dive in to mythology and draw instances of ancient ‘journalism’. He said journalism began at the age of Mahabharatha and then added other claims to enforce his point.

Minister was of the opinion that the mythological character of Sanjaya, sitting at Hastinapur narrating the war of Mahabharath to Dhritharashtra was an example for live telecast. ” if it is not live telecast, then what is it ?” He asked.

The minister then drew comparison between saint narada and the search engine google. ” Your Google has started now, but our Google started long time back. ‘Narad Muni’ was the epitome of information. He could reach anywhere and transfer a message from one place to another by saying ‘Narayana’ three times”.
