The trailer of Sanju was launched today with great fanfare. Everyone was blown away by the trailer, which is a heady mix of emotions, drama, comedy, and romance. Dressed in a military green jacket Ranbir looked dapper.
Everyone had a number of questions for the makers who literally pleaded the press to save something for the time when they would see the film. The makers and Ranbir made many revelations. Here are some of the main highlights.
# When the press asked Ranbir as to how many girlfriends does he have, he said it would be tough to touch 10, forget 350. He said that he had a poster of Sanjay in his room as a kid and he really respected him a lot.
# Manisha Koirala revealed that she got a congratulatory note from Sunil Dutt after her film Bombay speaking of how he thought she looks a lot like Nargis, and she feels it is a cosmic connection that she is playing Nargis.
# Dia Mirza, who plays Sanjay Dutt‘s wife in the film, said that she had never met Maanayata Dutt but the writing helped.

# Ranbir said that his mom was his biggest fan and she was the one who felt Bombay Velvet was one of the greatest films ever.
# Vidhu Vinod Chopra spoke about how Raju Hirani had once called him up at night and said that he felt he had never lived his life after going through Sanjay Dutt’s life.
# Ranbir said it was great to work with Sonam as she had grown as an actress. He also said that she had lost weight.
# Raju Hirani said that he had jokingly offered Aamir Khan the role of Sunil Dutt but he refused as he did not want to play an old man in another film after Dangal.
