‘Beat the heat’ in this Ramadan with Watermelon Limeade

Watermelon Limeade

With the natural sweetness of Watermelon, hint of tartness from limes and the extreme freshness of the mint, this drink is perfect for the summers.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 medium Watermelon
  • 2 cups fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 package or 20 fresh Mint Leaves

INSTRUCTIONS

First, make the mint simple syrup: Combine 2 cups water, 1 cup sugar, and mint leaves in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and stir until sugar has dissolved. Once the sugar has completely dissolved, remove from heat and allow mint to steep for 1 hour. Remove mint.
