In massive haul of Formalin added fish which has been brought from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka etc, the Kerala government has made it clear that they cannot take any action against the perpetrators. Last day, 6000 Kg of fish soaked in Formaldehyde had been seized from Aryankavu. Yesterday, 9000Kg of fish was seized from Kollam. The Kerala Food Safety Department has washed their hands of the issue saying that they cannot take any action against the perpetrators of the crime as they are not sure about their identities.
