Is he a student? Age of this gang member in Maharaja’s College murder case will astonish you!

Kerala is shocked at the brutal murder of 20-year-old degree student Abhimanyu at the prestigious Maharajas College in Cochin. A native of the agricultural village vattavada in Idukki, Abhimanyu was a second-year Philosophy student in Maharajas. He along with his comrade Arjun(19) had been attacked mercilessly using dangerous weapons in a professional manner at the behest of Campus Front cadres in the college with the help of outside gang of suspected SDPI workers. Arjun is in a serious condition currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Ernakulam.

As per the police account, a minor scuffle regarding sticking of posters escalated to a serious issue which culminated in Abhimanyu’s murder. The Police took into custody 3 Campus Front workers related to the incident. Police said that there were outsiders who came to stick poster and the astonishing thing is that one person who had been arrested by the police was 37 years old!

CM Pinarayi Vijayan taking cognizance of the issue hinted at the involvement of terrorist-linked groups from outside the college in the murder. He condemned the cold-blooded murder and gave directions to the police to take strict and stern actions against the perpetrators.

For Campus Front and their parent organization, these type of brutality is not a new thing. Two young ABVP workers named Sachin and Vishal were killed brutally by the Campus Front activists earlier, which also involved professionally trained outside terror-linked gangs in the execution of murder.
