The demand made by a Joint Commissioner to 22 year old rape victim is shocking!

A 22-year-old woman subjected to gang rape in a moving SUV had to undergo an unbearable threat from the Joint Commissioner of police. The woman filed a complaint at the Satellite police station in Ahmedabad last Thursday in which she alleged that four unidentified people in masks had abducted from Nehrunagar area of the city in March 2017 in an SUV and two of them raped her and filmed the act to blackmail. But as per the account of the woman to the local news channels, the Joint Commissioner of Police J K Bhatt threatened her to alter the FIR taking sides with the main accused Vrishabh.

However, Ahmedabad Police Commissioner AK Singh expressed his full faith in the investigating team. The Police Commissioner addressing a press conference said that the police had summoned and interrogated two of the three accused in the case and also recorded the statement of the victim.

The woman’s complaint said about a repeated assault when she had got abducted again in an SUV by the three of the four accused on June 27 night from Maninagar area in which she was subjected to molestation before they let her go. She said in the police complaint that during that time one of the accused had told her that she had been raped at the behest of her boyfriend.
