Abhimanyu Murder Case: Campus Front State Leader Arrested From Bengaluru

One of the main accused in the Abhimanyu murder case, Muhammad Rifa has been arrested from Bengaluru. Rifa is originally from Kannur and has been absconding ever since the murder of SFI leader Abhimanyu’s murder  in Maharajas college on July 1.

Rifa is an LLB student and a state level leader of Campus Front, which is the student wing of Popular Front of India.

It is believed that he is the guy who invited the gang that stabbed Abhimanyu in the college. Another Campus Front leader, J I Muhammad was also arrested by police. Muhammed allegedly arranged the gang of 15 to 17 members including people from SDPI, Popular Front, and Campus front to attack SFI activists.

Earlier on Wednesday, the police had held Sanish a native of Palluruthy, who is suspected of having direct involvement in the murder.
