The senior Muslim clerics in the state has announced that Bakrid will be on August 12 in the state. Dulhajj 1 will be August 3 nad Arafa fast will be on August 11.
Bakrid is the commemoration of the sacrifices of Prophet Ibrahim who was ready to sacrifice his firstborn son on God’s command and later sacrificed a sheep as per God’s instruction.
