The Kerala government has declared a public holiday on August 12. The public holiday was announced as the state will celebrate Bakrid on that day.
The holiday is applicable to all educational institutions including professional college. Public offices including government offices and all other establishments coming under the limits of negotiable instruments acts will have a holiday.
