A huge metal plate hurled out by a severe Chemical plant explosion in Spain’s Catalonia province flew more than 3 km to kill a man.
The man, named only as Sergio, was in his apartment when the 1-tonne metal plate struck, causing part of the building to collapse, officials have confirmed.
A senior member of staff at the factory was also killed in the explosion, which seriously injured two others.
