The National Medical Commission (NMC) has officially introduced modifications to the NEET-UG syllabus, the widely recognized national entrance examination for undergraduate medical course admissions. As per the latest notification, the revised syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology can be accessed through the ‘What’s New’ section on the NMC’s official website, www.nmc.org.in.
These alterations will be implemented for the NEET-UG examination scheduled for the academic year 2024-2025. The NMC responded to concerns regarding the difficulty of the previous syllabus by streamlining the content. This involved the removal of certain chapters and the incorporation of new ones. The focus has shifted towards sections deemed more pertinent to medical education, ensuring that aspiring medical students are better prepared for the challenges ahead.
