Mumbai: MG Motor has raised the price of its Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) in India. The automobile brand hiked the price of Hector and Hector Plus. The Hector and Hector Plus SUVs have had their prices raised by up to Rs 40,000.
This is the third time in a year that the Chinese-owned British carmaker has raised the price of the SUV. Earlier in August this year the band has hiked the price.
MG Motor unveiled the 2023 Hector at the January Auto Expo with a starting price of Rs 14.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hector SUV, which is available in both petrol and diesel engines, is available in 6 trim levels: Style, Shine, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro. Following the recent price rise, the Hector SUV will be available for Rs 15 lakh, with the top-end Savvy Pro variant priced at Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Hector Plus SUV, it was launched for Rs 20.80 lakh (ex-showroom). There are 2 different seating arrangements available for the MG Hector Plus SUV: 6 and 7 seats. The starting price of the six-seater SUV is currently Rs 20.45 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top-end variant costing Rs 22.73 lakh (ex-showroom).
