Homemade Chilli Potato Recipe

Chilli Potato Recipe:

Ingredients:
– 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips
– 1 cup cornstarch
– Oil for frying
– 1 tablespoon oil
– 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
– 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
– 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
– 1 onion, thinly sliced
– 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
– 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce
– 1 tablespoon vinegar
– Salt to taste
– Spring onions for garnish

Instructions:
1. Coat the potato strips in cornstarch, ensuring they are evenly coated.
2. Heat oil in a pan for frying and fry the potatoes until golden brown and crispy. Set aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
3. In another pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté garlic, ginger, and green chillies until fragrant.
4. Add sliced onions and bell peppers, stir-frying until they are slightly tender but still crisp.
5. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, vinegar, and salt. Add this sauce to the vegetables and mix well.
6. Toss in the fried potato strips and coat them evenly with the sauce.
7. Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
