‘Main Bhi Kejriwal’ campaign from January 4

On Saturday, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak announced that the party would initiate the ‘Main Bhi Kejriwal’ public dialogue campaign on January 4 next year, following the success of their signature campaign. The ‘Main Bhi Kejriwal’ initiative sought public feedback on whether Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should resign or continue in office if arrested and ran from December 1 to December 30. Pathak, the AAP’s national general secretary (organisation), held a meeting at the party headquarters to discuss the triumph of the door-to-door campaign and to strategize the training of party members for the upcoming ‘Main Bhi Kejriwal’ public dialogue campaign, which is set to commence on January 4. Key party figures, including Delhi minister Imran Hussain and leaders such as Dilip Pandey, Jarnail Singh, Kuldeep Kumar, Rituraj Jha, Rajesh Gupta, Gulab Singh, and Jitendra Singh Tomar, attended the meeting, alongside AAP MLAs, councilors, district presidents, and district secretaries.

Expressing congratulations for the success of the ‘Main Bhi Kejriwal’ signature campaign, Pathak highlighted its achievements and emphasized the launch of the ‘Main Bhi Kejriwal Jan Samvad’ campaign in Delhi. Starting on January 4, 2024, the new campaign will involve the active participation of all AAP ministers, MLAs, and councilors. Pathak underscored the importance of making the public dialogue campaign as successful as the signature campaign, urging broad participation from the people of Delhi. He stated that during the door-to-door campaign, the party leaders informed Delhi residents about what they perceive as the “autocracy” of the Narendra Modi government and alleged conspiracies against the AAP and CM Arvind Kejriwal, conveying the message that anyone challenging the Modi government faces consequences such as suspension or imprisonment. Pathak concluded by asserting that if anyone is feared by Prime Minister Modi, it is Arvind Kejriwal.
