New York: Three nations are set to host the FIFA World Cup together, for the first time in history. The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be played at the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The 2026 World Cup will played across 16 cities in North America.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup has expanded the number of teams from 32 to 48 teams and a total of 104 matches will be played. The teams will be divided into 12 groups of 4, with the top 2 teams from each group, plus the 8 best third-placed teams, advancing to the knockout rounds.
The 2026 World Cup will begin on Thursday, June 11, 2026, and the final is scheduled for Sunday, July 19, 2026.
