Shortly after being terminated, Kapil Mishra said that he would expose the involvement of certain Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders in an alleged scam on Sunday. He met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and handed over all documents related to the alleged scam on Saturday.
AAP leader Kapil Mishra on Saturday was removed from the Delhi cabinet as its Water and Tourism Minister in a reshuffle by CM Arvind Kejriwal following the party’s rout in the civic elections.
However, within an hour of his removal, Mishra claimed that he would make a big expose on an alleged Rs 400 crore water tanker scam, details of which he had handed over to Kejriwal on Saturday morning itself.
In a series of tweets in Hindi late on Saturday evening, Mishra said that he would release the same details he gave to Kejriwal at 11.30 am on Saturday at Rajghat, claiming that he was clean and that he would not budge from the party.
Mishra further said that he would reveal names of AAP leaders whom he alleges are part of the scam.
