Fourteen workers were injured after the bus they were travelling in turned over several times in Sharjah. The accident was reported on Al Dhaid Road near interchange number 7.
The injuries ranged from serious to minor, said the police. The workers were travelling towards Al Sajjah industrial area when the accident took place.
As soon as the police were notified about the accident, security patrols and paramedics rushed to the spot. Initial investigations revealed that the driver lost control over the bus, which then flipped over several times.
The injured were taken to Al Qasimi, Kuwait, and Al Dhaid hospitals.
