Last three days Karippur airport, and Kozhikode witnessed the script of the recent Malayalam film, ‘ThondiMuthalum Drisakshiyum’. After three days waiting, police pulled the gold out with the help of doctors.
The gold was taken out from the stomach of Nawas, the native of Calicut, who arrived from Dubai was worth 10.5 lakhs of Indian money. The smuggled gold was found when customs officers felt suspicious about him and made him undergo X-Ray scanning.
Almost 7 blocks of gold biscuits were taken out from Nawas’s stomach. He was immediately admitted to Majeri Medical College, Calicut. Police have registered the case against him for gold smuggling.
He is suspected to be a professional career for smuggling goods. He admitted that the mafia has offered him Rs 10,000 with the free air ticket to transport gold into the destination.
