Nubia launches ‘Z17 mini Limited Edition’ in India

ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia has launched the Limited Edition of its Nubia Z17 mini smartphone. The Limited Edition of the phone comes with 6GB RAM will be exclusively available on Amazon, starting September 15.

The USP of the Nubia Z17 mini is its dual rear camera setup, comprised of two 13MP modules. One of these has a monochrome sensor while the other has a RGB sensor. The smartphone is claimed to have ultra-fast focusing speeds. A 16MP front-facing camera with wide-angle lens is also included.

Nubia Z17 Mini has a 5.2-inch full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm 652 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. There’s 64GB internal storage, expandable up to 200GB via microSD cards.

The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Nubia UI baked on top. Backed by a 2950mAh battery, it offers 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC as connectivity options.

Nubia recently launched its M2 Play smartphone in India at Rs 8,999. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, layered with the company’s UI 5.0 on top. It is powered by 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The M2 Play features a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720) display with a 2.5D curved glass on top. On the camera front, it sports a 13MP rear camera with NeoVision 6.0 camera engine, LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. It has a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture with 84-degree wide angle lens.

The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery and comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The fingerprint sensor in the front also doubles as a home button. Speaking of the connectivity options, it includes, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4, 4G VoLTE, micro USB, 3.5mm audio-jack, GPS, and GLONASS.
