We are fighting poverty, but our neighbouring state Pakistan is fighting against us, says Sushma Swaraj at UNGA

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj gave her second speech at the UN General Assembly. The union minister came down sharply against Pakistan. Directing her remarks to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, she asked how did the nation should introspect how it emerged “export factory for terror”.

Ms Swaraj called on world leaders to gain common ground in acting against global terrorism. The leader, gave her strong and short speech in Hindi. Yesterday, Ms Swaraj and the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson discussed a wide range of bilateral issues, including the situation in the neighbourhood and the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
