The first teaser of Chiyaan Vikram’s new film ‘Sketch’ is released on the occasion of Diwali.
Directed by Vijay Chander of Vaalu fame, Tamannaah Bhatia plays Vikram’s romantic interest in the film. The film is touted to be set in North Chennai and Vikram apparently plays a gangster in the film and Tamannaah plays a college girl.
The movie has completed its shooting part, and post-production works are going on. The film is expected to hit the screens on December 22 to cash in on the Christmas weekend.
The makers recently canned a mass song Achi Buchi Sketchwith 150 dancers and 1500 junior artistes in a massively erected set.
The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under V Creations. Tamannaah, Radharavi, Soori, Sriman, Sri Priyanka, Ravi Kishan, RK Suresh, Madhumitha, Vishwanth and Vela Ramamoorthy form the rest of the cast.
Apart from the bevy of stars, popular Malayalam actor Baburaj is making a comeback to Tamil films playing an important role in ‘Sketch’. He was last seen in Thala Ajith starrer ‘Jana’ that released in 2004.
Sukumar of Mynaa and Bairavaa fame has cranked the camera while SS Thaman has composed tunes for Sketch which will have a simultaneous release in Telugu.
