An FIR filed against Congress Chief in Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel in connection with blackmailing Chhattisgarh Minister Rajesh Munat. A day after a senior journalist was arrested from his home near Delhi. The arrested journalist hinted the influence of Congress Chief in the case.
Baghel said he possessed a copy of a sex CD purportedly featuring the Minister Munat. Later Minister has called the CD “fake” and said it can be investigated by any agency. Later the police inquiring the case filed an FIR against Baghal in reference to the Minister’s complaint.
Possession of the CD was Vinod Verma, an independent journalist and a member of the Editors Guild of India, he was arrested yesterday from his home in Ghaziabad by a police team that flew in from Raipur. The Chhattisgarh government has claimed Verma was working with the opposition Congress to discredit the BJP government. Baghel has denied the alleged connection with the accused journalist.
