Kerala RSS Worker’s Murder : Police Investigation On

Kerala RSS Worker’s Murder : Police Investigation On….

Anandan, a worker of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) was murdered in Nenmini near the town of Guruvayur on Sunday.

Police officers said he was stabbed several times before he succumbed to injuries in a hospital. They suspect the ruling Communist Party of India- Marxist (CPM) workers could be behind the murder. Anandan was out on bail in a murder case of CPM worker.

The officials said they have identified the car in which the assailants of Anandan travelled. The state has witnessed a slew of murders of CPM and RSS workers in recent past.

The tensions between the arch rivals reached its zenith when Bharatiya Janata Party launched a nationwide strike against the killing of RSS workers.

Taking on the Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for the killings, BJP President Amit Shah had said that murders were done to instil fear in the opposition. “Life can be taken with a bullet, but bodies of our workers were chopped to pieces to instil fear even then we aren’t scared of sacrifice,” Shah said.

“Over 120 BJP-RSS workers killed since Communists came to power, they should be ashamed,” the BJP chief stated.

The reds think, they will be able to stop thoughts and ideas from spreading through violence. I want to tell the CPI (M) and Congress that communists have disappeared from the world and Congress from India. And BJP, which was launched with 10 persons, is today the world s largest party with 11 crore workers, Shah said.
