Pakistani seeks Sushma Swaraj’s help for Indian visa…

 

Touqeer Ali , UAE-based Pakistani, whose son has been diagnosed with a rare heart disease and needs to be operated upon.

Touqeer Ali applied for Indian visa through the Consulate General of India in UAE on 18 September but as he has yet not received the visa, he thought it best to reach out to the Indian minister for help.
Ali, wrote to Swaraj on Twitter: “Ma’m our Son has CCTGA which is very rare in nature n needs open heart surgery. There’s no such surgery done in pak ever, hardly a case in UAE but India is specialist in it. We’re really in need of help of India. Visa applied on 18 Sep thru @cgidubai”

Not disappointing him, Swaraj was quick to reply with a tweet: “Pls do not worry. I have asked @cgidubai to grant visa for the open heart surgery of your child in India.”

Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has time and again rescued people of who seek out to her for help. And, she is known for her prompt responses to them on Twitter.
Last month, the minister offered help to a Russian tourist who had to resort to begging outside a temple in Tamil Nadu after his debit card ATM pin got locked.
