In this UAE emirate bus journeys will be costlier from December 1.

The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority will be increasing bus fares next month.

In notices pasted inside buses and on the authority’s website, the authority said ticket fares will increase on all city routes by Dh1 starting December 1, 2017.

Tickets purchased by cash will cost Dh7 instead of Dh6, while passengers using the Sayer card will be charged Dh5.5 instead of Dh4.5.
