For the first time, prior to the upcoming 5 month summer in the country, Sharjah decided to air condition the walkways for the comfort of people. It is said by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah at the two-day Global Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Alliance Forum 2017 that started off on Saturday.
Addressing the opening session of the NCD forum along with Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and Patron of the Global NCDA Forum, Dr. Sheikh Sultan said that walkways have already been designed and would soon be in the implementation stage.
Speaking of outcomes of the forum that was held in Sharjah in 2015, Dr. Sheikh Sultan said that this is a place of practical action. It is a credit to you all that you have stimulated us to take action and initiate many projects.
