Our lifestyle is more important for our health how many of us getting up or waking up in the right position? we are often told why one must wake up from the right side of the bed or why waking up on the right side makes us grumpy. The debate seems as tough as deciding which side of the bread to butter. However, there’s another theory that eliminates the need to know the better side of the bed – that is, if you know the right side you must tilt your body while waking up.
Many yoga and Ayurveda experts have given guidelines regarding the way to wake up in the morning. Those guidelines also contain the direction in which you must tilt your body to awaken and that direction is right.
Yoga guru Abhishek Sharma says that when you sleep, there is a lot of latent energy in your body. To activate that energy and to balance its flow in the body, you must turn to right and then get up from your bed.
As per Aryan’s belief-system, our body has Surya Nadi on the right side of our body. While waking up, if you tilt your body towards the right, this reservoir of energy gets activated and even boosts one’s digestive processes.
THE SCIENTIFIC REASON: If you are a person who believes in science and someone who doesn’t care about Ayurveda, there’s also science backing up this belief. It is believed that your body has two magnetic fields around it, one going from the head towards your feet and the other going vice-versa. The first magnetic field is the basis of our existence, while the second is the one that defines our strength and force. When you wake up on your right, you strengthen the second field, hence, boosting your body’s energy flow.
THE RIGHT-HANDED THEORY: Another theory which also believes in waking up on the right states that the reason behind this is because most of the people are right-handed. They believe that if right-handed people wake up on their right side, it boosts the energy flow in their body, can destress you, boost your sexual function and even help you with hangovers.
