10 natural beauty tips that works wonders for skin problems

First impression is the best impression. Here are some beauty tips to take care of your skin and its problems. Banish your beauty problems with these beauty tips.

When it comes to the health of your skin, there are no better alternatives than natural products. So, in case you are out of makeup goodies, you could look at these options!

  1. Use coconut oil to remove makeup
For a more natural and healthy way to remove makeup (including waterproof editions), use coconut oil. Apart from being cost-effective, it is also readily available. It helps moisturize the skin while acting as an antibacterial agent. All you need to do is massage the oil into your skin in a circular motion and remove with a cotton swab.

  1. Use avocado for sun-burnt skin
Avocados are nutrient-dense fruits, that can be used as a hydration mask for skin. They are filled with healthy fats, minerals, and antioxidants, all things needed to help hydrate and properly nourish sun-burnt skin. Simply mash a ripe avocado and apply it as a paste on the areas that need healing.

  1. Use papaya to make your lips look luscious and flake-free
Like your face, lips need pampering too, and this may be one of my favourite DIY beauty remedies. Papayas are packed with Vitamin C and natural enzymes that help break down the extra flakes on lips, leaving them soft and luscious. Mash a piece of papaya into a juicy paste so that you are left with a beautiful rich puree. Apply a generous amount of the puree on the lips and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing with water.

  1. Use sugar and olive oil as a face scrub
For a super moisturized, healthy and breakout-free face, try this two-ingredient, organic and homemade scrub that is quick and fuss-free. Mix coconut oil and sugar in a bowl and scrub gently in circular motions onto the face for a minute and rinse with warm water.

  1. Use rose water as face toner
Whether you have oily or dry skin, rose water is ideal as a toner at night before getting into bed. It clears all impurities the face has gathered throughout the day. Its antioxidant and anti-aging properties make it a true miracle worker, a reason why it should be part of your beauty regimen. Wet a cotton ball with cold rose water and dab it on the pre-washed skin.

  1. Use castor oil for eyebrow regrowth
If your eyebrows have been thinning, castor oil is a natural and effective solution for its thickening and regrowth. The fatty acid, proteins and Vitamin E in this oil make it a perfect ingredient to trigger hair growth. Wash your face, then use a cotton swab to apply the oil on your brows. Massage for a minute and leave on, preferably overnight.

  1. Use sea salt to rejuvenate the body
Sea salt’s anti-bacterial properties help get rid of grime, toxins and cleanse the skin’s pores while retaining moisture. Add a generous amount of sea salt in your bath, soak and relax while it does the job for you!

  1. Use Shirley Conlon Organics Olive & Castor Bean Cleansing Milk to massage the face
Like your body, massaging your face is important to increase blood and oxygen flow. My all-time favorite organic product for massaging the face and neck area is the Shirley Conlon Organics Olive & Castor Bean Cleansing Milk, which is suitable for all skin types, and is packed with rich plant goodness; it leaves the skin cleansed, hydrated and super nourished.

  1. Use potato for puffy eyes and dark circles
Want to desperately get rid of puffiness and under-eye dark circles? Cut a raw potato into thin slices, soak them in cool water and then place the slices on your eyes. Potatoes contain natural bleaching agents, Vitamin C, Vitamin A and moisturize the skin.

  1. Use egg, yogurt and lemon mask for dandruff and dry hair
Regular ingredients that we have at home can offer a great remedy for dandruff and dry hair. Simply break an egg, add two tablespoons of yogurt and squeeze the juice of one lemon into a bowl, and mix well. Apply on the scalp for 30 minutes with a brush, then wash with lukewarm water. This mask works as a powerful anti-bacterial agent that helps in getting rid of unwanted dandruff and moisturizes dry hair.
