BJP against Arvind Kejriwal; he sold Rajyasabha seats for 100 cr

After nominating outsiders to Rajyasabha seats by AAP ,the attacks on the AAP got stronger with BJP MP Parvesh Verma claiming that the two seats were sold for Rs 100 crore.

Verma’s allegation has added fuel to the fire as the AAP already faced criticism from its founding member Kumar Vishvas and other political parties over naming Sanjay Singh, businessman Sushil Gupta and chartered accountant Narain Dass Gupta as its debutants for the Rajya Sabha.

“Both the Guptas together own property worth Rs 5,000. I used to think that Kejriwal would send his wife, not Kumar Vishwas or Ashutosh, to the Rajya Sabha. I could never even dream that he was negotiating the price of the Rajya Sabha tickets at his house,” Verma said.

The negotiation for the ticket price started from Rs 30 crore and went up to Rs 50 crore, he further alleged.”I challenge Arvind Kejriwal to undergo a narco test. I will leave India along with my family members if he doesn’t confess that he sold two tickets to Rajya Sabha for Rs 100 crores,” Verma, son of former Delhi Chief Minister Sahib Singh, added.

Reacting to the allegations, AAP’s Rajya Sabha nominee Sushil Gupta has sent defamation notices to Parvesh Verma, BJP leader Harish Khurana and former Delhi minister Kapil Mishra.

After the AAP named its three nominees on Wednesday, Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken also alleged that Sushil Gupta had resigned from the Congress because the AAP promised him a Rajya Sabha seat.”On November 28, Sushil Gupta came to submit his resignation. Less than 40 days. Less said the better! Otherwise, Sushil is a good man known for his charity,” Maken said.
