Mani Ratnam film to star ‘Angamaly Diaries’ fame Antony Varghese

Antony, who has just one Malayalam movie to his credit so far, had impressed all by a neat portrayal of ‘Vincent Pepe’ in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Angamaly Diaries. His second movie is (Yet to be released) Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil which is directed by debutant Tinu Pappachan, which is a Kottayam based thriller movie

The National Award winning director Mani Ratnam’s new multi-starrer – featuring Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami and Simbu – is expected go on the floors from January.

The project, tipped to be a high-budget action-thriller, also stars Jyothika and Aishwarya Rajesh.

The music will be composed by A R Rahman, while Santosh Sivan will wield the camera. National Award winner Sreekar Prasad will take care of its editing.

Earlier, there were reports that Vijay Sethupathi would be seen playing a brief role in the bilingual movie. But, it is now clear that the Vikram Vedha actor will have a full-length role and will be seen playing a cop in it.

The film will have Fahadh, Arvind Swami and Simbu playing brothers in the film and what converges in the life of these three brothers will be the crux of the story.
