Heavy fog leads to the cancellation of 18 Trains

The poor visibility has lead to the cancellation of 18 trains. It has been a foggy Sunday morning in the National capital, Delhi which led to dipping of temperature to 6.64 degrees Celcius.while the maximum temperature was registered as 21 degrees, according to the India Meteorological Department’s forecast.

“A total of 18 trains were canceled while seven were rescheduled. Forty-three trains were running late from their normal timing,” according to Northern Railway.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the visibility had plummeted to 100 meters on early Sunday morning. 43  trains have also been delayed

In its 7-day forecast, the met department has said that the city will experience moderate and shallow fog on Monday and Tuesday respectively. Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be misty, and Friday and Saturday will likely see fog or mist as well.

Saturday minimum and the maximum temperature had been recorded at 18 and 8.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
