Sushma Swaraj’s effort will free Keralaite businessman Atlas Ramachandran from UAE jail

Atlas Ramachandran will be freed from the UAE jail courtesy with the efforts taken by the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. UAE has decided to take back 22 cases booked against him. However, one more case is still pending.

He could be released within a couple of days. When the pending case is cleared he will be allowed to return to India. He will stay in Dubai to settle his dues. His wife Indira Ramachandran had approached the state BJP leadership for help.

Ramachandran’s age also was a thing which proved vital for him. There are no pending cases against him.  An affidavit said that he has enough assets to clear his debts. Bank officials from the UAE would travel to India for final settlement of the case.

His family has thanked the BJP state fraternity for their efforts. They had been approached by Ramachandran’s family to solve their case. Ramachandran comes from Thrissur district in Kerala and has produced a number of films. He has also tried his luck in real estate business.
