This actress to play lead role in Thala Ajith’s Viswaasam
Nayanthara is really in great spirits. The actress has a swing of films lined up in Tamil and Telugu. She is one of the few actresses who can successfully balance content-oriented films as well as ‘masala’ commercial films. She is all set to pair opposite Ajith for the fourth time in Viswasam. While names of Anushka Shetty and Shraddha Srinath were tossed around, it is Nayanthara who has bagged the role.
Ajith and Nayanthara have teamed up earlier thrice – Billa, Aegan and Arrambam. Billa was a game changer in Nayan’s career, while Aegan went on to be a damp squib, commercially. Arrambam, directed by Vishnuvardhan, fared well at the box office. The Viswasam team is looking to rope in the best technicians and supporting artists. It is being rumoured that Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in as the composer.

The film’s story is set in a North Madras background. However, an official confirmation on the same is yet to arrive.Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Viswasam, directed by Siva, will go on floors in February. The team is aiming to wrap up the shoot by July. Viswasam is expected to hit the theatres in Diwali.
