Maruti Suzuki is planning to bring another small car in the market. The company has unveiled its concept small car with SUV features. Called FutureS, the car is slated to cater to the rising demand for “compact cars” in India.
The Future S is a compact car with SUV style. It is being designed to take on Renault’s Kwid and Mahindra KUV100. The uniqueness of this car is that it brings in SUV features without disturbing the dimensions and proportions of a small car.

“Two years ago, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, designed and developed in India, was unveiled here. Today, we unveil an idea, a concept that once again promises to redefine the Indian market,” Maruti Suzuki MD Kenichi Ayukawa said.
Commenting on the compact car Ayukawa said, “It is an answer to concerns of congestion and emission. Nearly 75 percent of passenger vehicles bought in India are small and compact vehicles, powering the country to the global top three in this segment and to the fourth largest overall.”
