Uttar Pradesh Government’s strict measures forces five lakh students to leave exam midway

In a report from Uttar Pradesh, about five lakh students have left class 10 and 12 board exams owing to the strict measures imposed by the UP government to prevent copying.

It is reported that the strong anti-copying measures have forced the students to leave the exams midway even in subjects like Home Science and Hindi.

Deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma told reporters,“We will not allow anyone to copy, cheat and usurp the right of meritorious students,” he added.

In a first of its kind, the minister is also using state Choppers to make surprising inspection on exam centers. CCTV has been installed and a special task force of police have been deployed to crackdown any kind of cheating.
