BJP gearing up to win Nagaland election

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on an election campaign in Nagaland while addressing a huge crowd said that if the BJP-NDPP alliance is elected to power then they will do things that will reduce wastage public money and work towards improving road connectivity in the state.

During his address, he pointed out the things that the central government did for the state of Nagaland.

“My vision for the Northeast is transformation by transportation,” he said this during an election rally conducted at Tuensang.

He also said that within four years the central government has added 500 km of national highways and plans to invest more than Rs 10,000 crore in the roads of Nagaland. He said that People need to vote for the BJP-NDPP alliance for a stable government in the state.

He said that the villages only receive 15 paise of the 1 rupee allocated for them by the centre and that this situation needs to be changed. He said that such a determination is there in their government.

He further said, “We have brought the ‘Saubhagya Yojana’ which will provide electricity to all homes. Till date, more than 10 lakh LED bulbs have been distributed in Nagaland, reducing consumption of power,” he said.
