Tragedy strikes Bihar as nine school children were killed and 24 others were injured after a car crashed into the school building. The horrific incident took place in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur earlier today.
Children were trying to cross the road when a speeding Balero car lost its control. The car then hit them and crashed into a school wall. The car driver fled soon after the incident. Nine children were killed on the spot and reports suggest that about 24 students were injured. The injured children were soon taken to the hospital and are currently undergoing treatment. Locals soon demanded the officials to arrest the driver and blocked the road in protest.

The Muzaffarpur DM and Superintendent of police have arrived at the spot and said that they have begun the investigation. The Bihar government has announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the victims.
