This is what Donald Trump has to say about India and PM Modi

The President of United States Donald Trump does not seem to be happy with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The US president has once again complained about India’s tariffs on the import of motorcycles. Trump is also said to have mimicked Modi’s ‘Namaste’ while delivering his complaint.

Earlier on February 14, Trump had made a complaint during a meeting with the lawmakers of US that India’s tariff on the import of American motorcycles such as Harley-Davidsons was very high. Trump said, “When I spoke to PM (Modi) he said we are lowering it to 50% but so far we are getting nothing. He gets 50%, he thinks, he is doing us a favour, but that is not a favour,”

The US President said that Indian Prime Minister is a beautiful person. However, he also imitated Modi by doing a ‘namaste’ while accusing that Modi is not doing anything good for the US. Earlier, Trump had threatened to go to an eye-for-an-eye
solution to deal with this issue by saying that he plans to impose a reciprocal tariff on the import of India-made motorcycles in the US.

This is not the first time that Trump is threatening other countries in the matter of trade. Earlier he had accused that countries like China are taking advantage of the US.
