The hue and cry over the picture of a breastfeeding woman in a Malayalam magazine Grihalakshmi are taking rounds on social media. The cover picture of a poet, model Gilu Joseph staring defiantly with suckling baby has literally shaken up the progressive state of Kerala.
Everyone expressed their own opinion on that. Kaniha is one of the popular actresses of Malayalam. She is famous for her role pairing with Mammootty in Pazhassi Raja.
Kaniha, who is also a young mom, took to her social media today to share her opinion on the matter while she gave the media a cold shoulder. Regarding breastfeeding, she said it is a very natural process that a mom and baby go through and it shouldn’t be made an issue and viewed as a claim for feminist freedom.
