Saputara is at the Dang district of Gujarat. The nearest International Airport to this place is the Mumbai airport and the closest domestic airport is at Surat. If you prefer to take service of Indian Railway, Bilimora at 50 kilometres away is the nearest railway station. the place is well connected to all major cities by road.
Saputara is believed to be the place where Lord Rama spent his time while he was in exile. The place Pandava cave is also here which is where pandavas are believed to have spent some time. The name ‘Saputara” means the abode of serpents and you are reminded of the etymology when you see the image of a snake on the shore of the river ‘Sarpaganga’.
Saputara lets you take a ride in a paddle boat, has facilities like cable car, museums and gardens.
